By installing and using FoodIQ (the "App"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Informational tool, not medical advice

FoodIQ provides nutritional information and ingredient analysis strictly for educational and informational purposes. The App is not a medical device and does not replace consultation with a qualified healthcare professional, dietitian, or allergist.

For severe allergic reactions, always read the product label yourself and consult your doctor.

2. No guarantee of accuracy

• Product data is sourced from Open Food Facts and other public databases. Information may be outdated, incomplete, or incorrect.
• Automated analysis may miss or misidentify ingredients.
• Always verify the product's label before consuming.

3. Subscriptions

FoodIQ Pro is offered as a renewable subscription via the Apple App Store. By starting a trial or subscription, you authorize automatic renewal at the stated price unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends. Manage or cancel through your App Store account settings.

4. Acceptable use

You agree NOT to:

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or modify the App.
• Use the App to harm minors or violate any law.
• Resell or commercially redistribute the App's data without permission.

5. Intellectual property

The App, including its source code, design, branding, and content (except third-party data clearly attributed) is owned by FoodIQ and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FoodIQ and its operators are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to allergic reactions, dietary issues, or financial loss.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

8. Changes to terms

We may update these terms periodically. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.
